'Wolf Hall' trailer gives a glimpse into the BBC adaptation

Actors Mark Rylance and Damian Lewis star in the TV adaptation of Hilary Mantel's novel.

A trailer has arrived for the upcoming BBC TV adaptation of Hilary Mantel鈥檚 book 鈥淲olf Hall.鈥�

鈥淲olf鈥� tells the story of Thomas Cromwell, an advisor to Henry VIII, and his machinations at the king鈥檚 court. Mark Rylance of 鈥淎nonymous鈥� plays Cromwell, while 鈥淗omeland鈥� star Damian Lewis portrays the king, 鈥淗ysteria鈥� actor Jonathan Pryce portrays Cardinal Wolsey, and Joanne Whalley of 鈥淭he Borgias鈥� portrays Catherine of Aragon, while Claire Foy of 鈥淩osewater鈥� takes on the part of Anne Boleyn.聽

In the trailer, Cardinal Wolsey tells Thomas Cromwell, 鈥淎t last, a man born in a more lowly state than myself.鈥� Cromwell later declares, 鈥淵ou will not find any talent I possess that England cannot use鈥� and King Henry VIII tells him, 鈥淚 trust in your discretion and your skill.鈥澛�
