鈥�Harry Potter鈥� fans can now celebrate the famous boy wizard on his own special night.

Publisher Bloomsbury has created Harry Potter Book Night, which will be held for the first time in February. Venues such as libraries, bookstores, and schools are invited to participate.

鈥淭his exciting event gives new and existing fans a chance to share the wonder of J.K. Rowling鈥檚 unforgettable stories and, most excitingly, to introduce the next generation of readers to the unparalleled magic of Harry Potter,鈥� the event鈥檚 website reads. 鈥淵ou are hereby invited to embrace the magic and banish the midwinter blues!鈥� (Or, the site noted, celebrate summer, if you鈥檙e in the Southern Hemisphere.)聽

Bloomsbury has created a kit for anyone who wishes to get involved and the kit will include games, quizzes, and suggestions for costumes and venue decorations as well as other materials. Registration for those who want the kit will close on Nov. 28.

鈥淭here will be public events in London and key regions around the UK, a major competition for UK schools and many further treats and surprises 鈥� all celebrating J.K. Rowling鈥檚 seven iconic Harry Potter books 鈥� to be revealed very soon,鈥� the event website reads.聽

Bloomsbury Children鈥檚 Books marketing director Emma Hopkin noted how popular the release parties for the release of each 鈥淧otter鈥� book were while the series was still being published.聽

鈥淔ollowing some in-depth market research, we decided a moment in the book calendar year to celebrate Harry would reawaken the excitement of the midnight openings which were such a mark of the original publications,鈥� Hopkin told the Bookseller. 鈥淚t will remind the fans about Harry Potter and also be a good opportunity to introduce the books to new readers.鈥�

The announcement comes as the world of 鈥淧otter鈥� is set to continue at the movie theater as well. A film trilogy based on 鈥淧otter鈥� author J.K. Rowling鈥檚 book 鈥淔antastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,鈥� which is set in the world of 鈥淧otter,鈥� is set to be released beginning in 2016.
