'Game of Thrones' author George R.R. Martin's children's book will be republished this fall

You鈥檙e in luck 鈥� a children鈥檚 book by George R.R. Martin titled 鈥淭he Ice Dragon鈥� that seems to be set in the 鈥淕ame of Thrones鈥� universe is being re-released this fall. It was first published in 1980 as part of the anthology 鈥淒ragons of Light鈥� and then came out again in 2007 as its own work.
鈥淭he Ice Dragon鈥� follows a girl named Adara who befriends the titular character, a creature that arrives in her area only during the winter. The book will be reprinted with new artwork by artist Luis Royo.
As noted by the , the book doesn鈥檛 say outright that it鈥檚 set in the 鈥淭hrones鈥� world of Westeros, but in Martin鈥檚 鈥淭hrones鈥� book 鈥淎 Dance with Dragons,鈥� his character Jon Snow recalls the tale of the Ice Dragon.聽
