鈥淐DS impressed me with their understanding of my readers and their track record for producing premium online digital series,鈥 Patterson said in a statement, according to .听
Episodes will run between 10 to 15 minutes and somewhere between six and 10 of them will be produced, according to the NYT. The first group of episodes is set to premiere this spring and Gary Binkow, chief content officer for Collective Digital Studio, told the NYT that CDS is looking to cast people who are already famous on YouTube in the series.
Of the series in general, according to Deadline, Binkow said in a statement, 鈥淢ax is a fierce and strong female protagonist who鈥檚 desperate to protect her flock. Bringing her to life as an original fantasy web series is something her fans have been asking for, evidenced by the hundreds of fan-made videos already online. The beauty of YouTube is that fans won鈥檛 have to wait forever as we won鈥檛 be bogged down by the typical studio development process.鈥澛
