Jane Lynch will co-write a children's book on bullying

Lynch, who stars on the TV series 'Glee,' will co-write a story about a little girl who enjoys bullying others until someone takes her on.

'Marlene, Marlene, Queen of Mean' will be released this September.

Jane Lynch, who memorably plays coach-turned principal Sue Sylvester on the Fox musical TV series 鈥淕lee,鈥 will reportedly write a children鈥檚 book about bullying.

鈥淕lee鈥 often touches on themes of bullying, with the main characters, who are members of a show choir at a high school, often being ridiculed by their peers.

Lynch鈥檚 work will be titled 鈥淢arlene, Marlene, Queen of Mean鈥 and will focus on a girl of the same name who revels in putting down others until someone takes her on.

Lynch is writing the book with Lara Embry and A. E. Mikesell and the book will be illustrated by Tricia Tusa.

鈥淢arlene鈥 will be released by Random House on Sept. 23.
