'Fifty Shades of Grey' author E.L. James 'terrified' of the movie
鈥�Fifty Shades of Grey鈥� author E.L. James says she鈥檚 written another book following the release of her bestselling erotic trilogy.
Hold your horses, though, fans 鈥� James says the book (subject matter undisclosed) is written but, when she was asked in an interview with if she would publish it soon, she said, 鈥淚 don鈥檛 know.鈥澛�
She said the book does also have sexual themes but added, 鈥淚t's very different than 'Fifty.鈥欌��
The last book James released was 2012鈥檚 鈥淔ifty Shades Freed,鈥� which was the third book in her 鈥淔ifty鈥� trilogy. The first book in the series is now being adapted into a film starring 鈥�Once Upon a Time鈥� actor Jamie Dornan and 鈥淏en and Kate鈥� actress Dakota Johnson.
James told Entertainment Weekly that she鈥檚 鈥渢errified鈥� about the movie.
鈥淚鈥檝e been terrified from the moment I published the book,鈥� she said. 鈥淵ou don鈥檛 expect this kind of success. Even now it floors me. My only ambition for the books was to see them in bookstores. This is huge. And there is this passionate fandom; we need to get this right for them.鈥�
When asked if she thought she herself would be blamed if the movie didn鈥檛 meet fans鈥� expectations, James said, 鈥淥h God, of course they will. They hold me responsible for everything.鈥�
The author also spoke about the departure of 鈥淪ons of Anarchy鈥� actor Charlie Hunnam from the project and the subbing in of Dornan.
鈥淚t was disappointing, but it is what it is,鈥� James said of Hunnam's departure. 鈥淚 wish him well. And now we have Jamie [Dornan], and that鈥檚 great. It鈥檚 been interesting with Jamie, [the fan reaction] has been so positive.鈥�
