Leonardo DiCaprio may star in a film adaptation of upcoming Jo Nesb酶 novel
Warner Bros. is reportedly in talks to adapt an upcoming novel of author Jo Nesb酶 into a film starring actor Leonardo DiCaprio.聽
鈥淏lood On Snow鈥� centers on an assassin who is given the job of killing his boss鈥檚 wife, according to . The book will be released by Nesb酶 under the pseudonym of Tom Johansen and is set to be published next fall.聽
A sequel is already planned for 鈥淏lood鈥� which has the working title of 鈥淏lood On Snow 2鈥� and, according to Deadline, Nesb酶 is planning a novel after that titled 鈥淭he Kidnapping鈥� which will find Johansen, Nesb酶鈥檚 pen name, as a character in the book 鈥� in fact, the one who gets kidnapped.
DiCaprio recently starred in the high-profile literary adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald鈥檚 鈥淭he Great Gatsby,鈥� which was directed by Baz Luhrmann. He will soon appear in 鈥淭he Wolf of Wall Street,鈥� which is based on the memoir by stockbroker Jordan Belfort and is set to be released this Christmas.聽
Nesb酶鈥檚 novel 鈥淭he Bat,鈥� which was his first book to feature the detective Harry Hole and which he released in July in an English-translated version, is currently a bestseller in its paperback format. Nesb酶鈥檚 tenth Harry Hole book, 鈥淧olice,鈥� came out last week.
