Date set for final Harry Potter film
The eighth (and the last) will be released on July 15, 2011. For film purposes, the final book in the series ("") is being split in two.
Part I is scheduled for release by Warner Brothers on Nov. 19, 2010. In聽 the meantime, film No. 6, 鈥溾�� should be in theaters on July, 17, 2009.
And then it's only four months till the next mega-hit novel-turned-film arrives. "," based on "," the second book in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 20, 2009.
The tweaking of the title may not please the purists among Meyer's fans, but suggests that perhaps the lengthy title means "that 'New Moon' will boast a more epic feel than the first movie."
One way or the other, the same blog is hardly overstating the case when it calls the film "one of the most anticipated movies of the year."
