I鈥檓 reading Driftless by David Rhodes. In truth, I鈥檓 reading it for a second time. The first time I read a library edition, and for one rainy Oregon Saturday I was transported back to Wisconsin, where I lived much of my adult life. Then I bought 鈥淒riftless鈥� so I could read it again. Rhodes鈥檚 writing is clear. He paints pictures of the interior and outward lives of ordinary people, telling profound truths along the way.
