In Yes is Better Than No by Byrd Baylor and Leonard Chana, Papago basketweaver Elma Dominguez, recently evicted from her home, wins a Kon Tiki swimming pool at the fair. She puts it to good use, but bureaucrats and do-gooders can鈥檛 leave well enough alone in a comic/tragic series of misunderstandings. What seems to be logic for some, isn鈥檛 for others. I鈥檝e read it three times.
