I'm reading Mission to Moscow written by American Ambassador to the USSR Joseph E. Davies, appointed to his post November 16, 1936. Davies returned home around June, 1938. In light of what is happening in the Black Sea area today, it helps to know some of the background history of our (US) involvement with Russia and who our ally has been in the World Wars.聽
