I just read A Secret Gift by Ted Gup. The generosity that prompted the gift of $5 each聽to 150 families in need in 1933 touched my heart.聽 And I can only imagine the writer's聽great joy聽upon finding that the anonymous donor was his own grandfather.聽 And not only that, to be able finally to solve聽the family "mystery."聽 How very appropriate for an investigative reporter!
