Here are nine other musicians who have published novels, short stories, poetry, and children鈥檚 books.
Rosanne Cash, Johnny Cash鈥檚 oldest daughter from his first marriage, and a successful singer/songwriter in her own right, published a book of short stories called 鈥淏odies of Water鈥�. Publisher鈥檚 Weekly said Cash wrote 鈥渨ith persistent earnestness, if not skill.鈥� Cash went on to write a children鈥檚 book called Penelope Jane: A Fairy鈥檚 Tale. The Kirkus review of this work was harsher, pointing out the book鈥檚 鈥渆xtra-wide margins,鈥� yet also conceding that it was a cut above most celebrity writing.
