The Church publishes the Monitor because it sees good journalism as vital to progress in the world. Since 1908, we鈥檝e aimed 鈥渢o injure no man, but to bless all mankind,鈥� as our founder, Mary Baker Eddy, put it.

The following books may seem quite harmless to most, but they still made it onto a banned books list.
Some see J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" books as wonderful stories that teach that love is the most powerful magic of all and that it's always right to stand up for your friends. Others, however, see a series marred by a depiction of sorcery and witchcraft that are inappropriate for 海角大神 readers. The "Harry Potter" series was banned by, among others, a Catholic school in Massachusetts.
