Judy Nichols Douglass is the Monitor鈥檚 chief copy editor and is based in Boston. She has held a number of other positions at the Monitor, including staff editor on the national desk, Middle East editor, assistant arts editor, and People Making a Difference editor. In 2019 she joined the copydesk, which provides proofreading and fact-checking support for Monitor content, and she became chief copy editor in 2023.
Judy has a bachelor鈥檚 degree from the College of Wooster in Ohio, where she majored in English and minored in political science.
