Henry Gass joined the Monitor as an intern 2014. He became Texas Correspondent in September 2017, and has covered the southern border, natural disasters, mass shootings, elections, and SpaceX. He also covers the U.S. Supreme Court, criminal justice, and legal affairs. He has reported on Native American issues in the U.S. and Canada since journalism school.
