Christopher Sherman is an editor on the national desk in the Monitor鈥檚 newsroom in Boston.
Chris started in local news at the Daily Record, covering state politics for the business and legal newspaper in Baltimore, Md. From there, he moved to Central Florida where he covered local and state news for the Orlando Sentinel. He joined The Associated Press as its Rio Grande Valley correspondent in South Texas covering all things border related, before moving to work as an AP correspondent in Mexico City. Most recently he was the AP鈥檚 news director for Mexico and Central America before he and his family returned to the U.S. Outside of work he enjoys kayaking, hiking and reading with his family.
