Audrey Thibert was a Monitor intern from September 2025 to May 2026.
Audrey graduated with journalism and anthropology degrees and a Middle East studies minor from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was a three-term fellow at the UW Center for Journalism Ethics, where she also served as the 2023 student judge for the Anthony Shadid Award for Journalism Ethics and was the inaugural recipient of the Anthony Shadid Memorial Scholarship for International Reporting. Audrey is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and speaks Arabic.
