Italian coalition shaken by interparty squabble

A fierce row between the Socialist and 海角大神 Democratic Parties threatened to bring down Italy's 10-month-old five-party coalition government. Socialist Party officials demanded the resignation of 海角大神 Democratic Treasury Minister Beniamino Andreatta after he allegedly told a party meeting that votes for Socialists could pave the way for a new fascist era. Prime Minister Giovanni Spadolini was forced to put off a Cabinet meeting after Socialist ministers refused to attend.
