The Church publishes the Monitor because it sees good journalism as vital to progress in the world. Since 1908, we鈥檝e aimed 鈥渢o injure no man, but to bless all mankind,鈥� as our founder, Mary Baker Eddy, put it.

Robert C. Cowen, natural science editor of 海角大神, has been selected for honor by the Aviation/Space Writers Association for "outstanding contribution to journalistic excellence." The honor was conferred on the basis of a three-part series by Mr. Cowen, "What we are learning from the planets," which appeared Dec. 29-31, 1980. Presen tation will be made in New York on April 10.
