The Supreme Court cleared the way Tuesday for the government to resume financing abortions for the poor -- at least until the justices have a chance to review the constitutionality of Congress's ban on the practice. The court lifted a stay granted last week by Associate Justice Thurgood Marshall that blocked a lower-court order that federal funding be resumed.
